Good Morning!!!
What a cool and crisp morning!! Feels clean, Day 1 of the Daniel fast is over.....I hope that you are considering this fast with me. If you already are, just stay the course and resist the temptation to quit. Its only day 2, in the next few days it will be much easier in the coming days. I really appreciate you for your efforts in this fast...God knows your needs and your heart. My reading this morning comes from Gen. 37:3-20. Several things that I want to note for you:
1. Joseph as a young boy (17) dreamed dreams. Told them to others, and was greatly tested
for telling his dreams. (Don't be discouraged to tell others your dream)
2. His 2nd dream of the sun, moon and the eleven stars, were his family. His Father then was
upset with him as well. Notice vs. 11 (brothers hated (envied), the father observed).
3. vs. 12 Joseph was sent by his father to Shechem, notice he didnt find his brothers there. So,
he found a man there that told him that his brrothers went to Dothan. So, he journied farther
than his father told him to go.
4. When his brothers saw him they conspired against him to kill him. Vs. 18. Listen to what
they said, "Here comes the dreamer"
5. They hated him for his dreams....Dont let your dreams die...
6. His brothers were trying to kill the dream...
7. Satan wants to kill the dream in you. The dream in you will expand the kingdom. Let the
Dream LIVE.
